Warnings: All of the sex (some of it in public) written very explicitly, vampire bites, language, mild violence. Also trigger warning for a severely depressed character.
Summary: Angel's been having some trouble controlling his impulses. Good thing Spike is there to make everything worse.

Chapter One: La-La Land
So Angel went about business as usual, feeling restless and overly sensitive, and tried not to notice how everyone at the office seemed suddenly to smell more like sex than they had before.

Date: 2022-07-22 11:54 pm (UTC)For me, as far as reading new fic goes, I'm pretty much 100% on AO3. The only times I ever come back to LJ are to update this post, and to copy the text from my other fic posts to move stories over to my AO3 account. I think I'll keep linking my fic on LJ just for organizational purposes, but I probably won't ever post the actual text of new stuff here anymore. If you're not on AO3, I really recommend it! It's free to create an account and it would be great to see some of your fic over there. There's a pretty severe lack of good Spangel (although there are certainly some gems). And it would be a lot easier to leave comments. :)
I do all the rest of my fandoming on Discord. There's a relatively active Buffyverse server that hosts channels for discussion of every season of BtVS and AtS as well as channels to talk about the comics and ships and fanfic and collectibles (figures and t-shirts and other merch). We also do live streams of both shows. There are about a thousand members. If you're on Discord or interested in joining, I can get you an invite. I don't really interact in fannish spaces on other social media because there's lately been a huge trend toward bashing Angel for some reason, and since he's my favorite character I'd like to avoid that as much as possible. Luckily, it's not as big a problem on Discord.
